General Surgeon Opportunity in North Dakota

We are seeking a skilled General Surgeon to join our team at a dynamic facility near Wilton, ND.
About the PositionThis locum tenens opportunity offers the chance to work in a level II trauma center, providing general surgery coverage, including emergency calls and trauma cases.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in trauma settings and be available for 24-hour on-call shifts, with weekend and holiday coverage required.
The scheduled dates for this assignment are from December 23rd (7 am) to December 27th (7 am).
Key Responsibilities- Manage general surgery cases, including appendectomies, laparoscopic cholecystectomies, bowel obstructions, and trauma cases.
- Provide emergency call coverage.
- Support from 1st assists available for OR procedures.
- Respond to trauma cases within a timely manner.
- Board Certified in General Surgery (required)
- Active North Dakota medical license or eligibility via the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC)
- ACLS, BLS, and ATLS certifications (required)
- Clean malpractice and background records (preferred)
- Previous experience working in trauma settings
- Must be available for the scheduled dates
- COVID vaccination required
