Customer Service Specialist

This is an opportunity to join the Harris Teeter team as a Customer Service Specialist. The primary responsibility of this position is to provide excellent customer service by satisfying each customer's needs, exceeding their expectations, and making every shopping visit a pleasant and satisfying experience.

Essential Functions:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
Working Conditions:
- Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; and smell
- Occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, or crouch
- Regularly required to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds and reach from 6 to 72 inches
Physical Demands:
- Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and moving mechanical parts
- Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and extreme cold
