Job Summary

Core-Mark, a leading distributor of fresh and broad-line solutions to the convenience retail industry, is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a critical member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering and unloading food and food-related products to customers in a safe and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a tractor-trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes, delivering and unloading products to customers.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition and comply with Department of Transportation regulations.
  • Communicate with customers, vendors, and co-workers to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products.
  • Load and unload products from the trailer, transport items into designated customer storage areas, and verify delivery of items with customers.
  • Complete daily records of hours of service and enter in log in accordance with Federal DOT, state, and company requirements.
Requirements
  • Valid CDL-A License
  • 6+ months of experience driving tractor trailers required
  • Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable)
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years
  • Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check
  • Pass road test
  • Attains or has valid current DOT Health Card and/or able to secure new DOT Health Card
