Key Responsibilities
  • Facility Safety and Security: Ensure the pool area is safe and secure for all users, including children and adults.
  • Emergency Response: Respond quickly and effectively to emergency situations, including water rescues and first aid.
  • Member Relations: Provide excellent customer service and respond to member inquiries and concerns.
  • Swim Lessons and Events: Assist with swim lessons, swim team, and other member events.
  • Surveillance and Monitoring: Conduct regular surveillance of the pool area and monitor the behavior of members and guests.
  • Injury Prevention and Response: Implement injury prevention techniques and provide first aid and emergency care as needed.
  • Uniform and Appearance: Wear approved uniforms and maintain a professional appearance at all times.
Requirements
  • Age: At least 16 years old.
  • Certifications: Current American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification, CPR/AED Certification, and First Aid Certification.
  • Physical Qualifications: Ability to perform physical activities necessary for the job, including swimming, sitting, and observing.
