Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented RV Detailer to join our team at Blue Compass RV. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the interior and exterior of our RVs are clean and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Exterior Detailing:
    • Wash and clean the exterior of RVs, including roofs, windows, wheels, and tires.
    • Apply wax, polish, and protectant to the RV exterior surfaces to enhance appearance and protect against the elements.
    • Remove any debris, dirt, or grime from the exterior, including bug splatters, tar, and road film.
    • Inspect the exterior for any damage or issues and report them to the service manager.
  • Interior Detailing:
    • Vacuum and clean the interior of RVs, including carpets, upholstery, and flooring.
    • Dust and wipe down all surfaces, including dashboards, cabinets, and countertops.
    • Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, and showers.
    • Ensure all appliances, such as refrigerators, ovens, and microwaves, are clean and in working order.
    • Replace or refresh linens, if applicable.
    • Inspect and ensure that all interior systems (lighting, electronics, etc.) are functioning properly.
  • General Responsibilities:
    • Follow all safety protocols and use appropriate cleaning products and tools.
    • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages.
    • Assist in moving and positioning RVs as needed.
    • Work closely with the service department to ensure all detailing tasks are completed on time.
    • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude.
    Requirements
    • Previous experience in a dealership or detail center is a plus, but not required.
    • Self-directed initiative, ability to apply oneself with limited supervision.
    • Ability to work in a team environment.
    • Attention to detail.
