Job Summary

Barrios Technology is seeking a highly experienced Procurement Director to join our Executive Corporate Team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the procurement functions and ensuring the successful execution of our contracts and subcontracts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the Contracts/Subcontracts functions, including developing change revisions/directives language and estimates, setting up and coordinating gate reviews, and monitoring changes from draft stage to contract modification.
  • Monitor changes in process and update change logs for various management reviews.
  • Manage Pricing and Estimating functions, especially with new business opportunities.
  • Manage all aspects of purchasing.
  • Support Finance/Accounting to include monthly processing and closings.
  • Support internal control function and audits as needed.
  • Participate in business process improvement initiatives across corporate departments.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or similar field, plus fifteen (15) or more years in all areas of procurement to include contracts and subcontract management, pricing and estimating and purchasing.
  • Ability to organize and support multiple teams and departments.
  • Excellent communicator in written and verbal form.
  • Extremely versatile, dedicated to efficient productivity.
  • Experience in Microsoft Suite of tools, especially Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Government contracting experience, including working relationships with government procurement officials.
  • Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation.
  • Experience in negotiations, particularly terms and conditions.
  • Experience in audits, including Contractor Purchasing System Review.
  • Establish internal process and procedures for government procurements.
  • Ability to hire, mentor, and train personnel in all areas of procurement for government contracting.
  • Experience with process improvements.
  • Experience with data analysis.
  • Strong project reporting skills, with a focus on interdepartmental communication.
Essential Requirements
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and successfully complete a U.S. government background investigation.
