Job Title: General Manager Regal American Mall

Job Summary:

The General Manager is a key leadership role responsible for the overall operation of the Regal American Mall theatre. This includes leading the theatre team to achieve business goals in revenue, expense, profitability, guest satisfaction, inventory control, and employee morale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Uphold and administer all Regal policies as outlined in ROM and Corporate directives.
  • Ensure all cash management policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.
  • Control concession inventory shortages and spoilage levels.
  • Monitor janitorial staff to ensure facility is cleaned to Regal standards every day.
  • Supervise all staff positions as required, including projection and audio-visual equipment maintenance.
  • Control costs, including direct operating expenses, purchasing, and inventory management.
  • Supervise theatre maintenance, including minor repairs and obtaining qualified personnel for larger maintenance concerns.
  • Monitor risk management, including cast member and guest safety, loss prevention, and emergency situations.
  • Provide excellent guest relations, marketing, and promotions of feature film engagements.
  • Count, deposit, and reconcile all receipts taken in during a business day.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years of post-secondary education in Business or two years of management or supervisory experience.
  • Working knowledge of all systems within the facility, including Booth and Projection technology.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
  • Good public speaking skills and effective communication with employees, vendors, and corporate staff.
