We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at the Detroit Medical Center. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic CT exams and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Imaging Procedures: Perform high-quality CT scans, following established protocols and procedures to ensure accurate diagnoses.
- Patient Care: Verify patient identity, review medical records, and assess patient risk factors to ensure safe and effective imaging procedures.
- Communication: Explain procedures to patients, including potential risks and benefits, and provide post-care instructions.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in quality improvement activities, including reject-repeat analysis and patient satisfaction surveys.
- Education: Provide imaging education to residents, student technologists, and new employees.
- Certifications: Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiology (R) or Computed Tomography (CT) preferred.
- Experience: One or more years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiology or advanced certification in Computed Tomography (CT).
- Skills: Analytical and clinical skills, interpersonal and communication skills, technical knowledge of imaging equipment, and ability to work effectively in a complex environment.
