Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at All Med Search as a Summer Camp RN. As a Summer Camp RN, you will play a vital role in ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of our campers and staff members throughout the summer.

Responsibilities
  • Provide first aid and medical care to campers and staff as needed, maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records.
  • Dispense medications to campers in accordance with prescribed instructions and camp policies, collaborating with the camp director and healthcare team to implement health and safety protocols.
  • Monitor and manage the camp's infirmary, ensuring it is clean and well-equipped, and assess and address any health-related concerns or emergencies promptly and professionally.
  • Communicate effectively with campers, parents/guardians, and staff regarding health matters, and assist in organizing and implementing health-related programs and educational initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant state and local health regulations and guidelines, and work as part of a team to provide exceptional care and support to our campers and staff.
Requirements
  • Current and valid RN license in the state of New York.
  • CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Previous experience in a camp or school health setting is a plus, with strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to remain calm and composed in emergency situations.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with a passion for working with children and adolescents, and the ability to work as part of a team and collaborate effectively with others.
Additional Information
  • This is a seasonal position for the duration of the camp season, with compensation ranging from $7,500.00 to $12,000.00, depending on qualifications and experience.
