About This Opportunity

We are seeking a Tax Senior to join our team in Parkville, MD. As a key member of our tax department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and efficient tax compliance and planning for our clients.

Compensation and Benefits

This position comes with a competitive base salary of $90,000, as well as opportunities for discretionary performance bonuses and charge hour bonuses during tax season. Our comprehensive benefits package includes subsidized medical plans, voluntary dental and vision plans, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and flexible spending accounts.

Job Responsibilities

You will be responsible for preparing and reviewing corporate, partnership, estate, trust, nonprofit (990), and individual tax returns, collaborating with teams to ensure accurate and efficient tax compliance and planning. Your experience with tax software, such as CCH ProSystems and Axcess, is highly valued.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3-6 years of public accounting tax experience
  • CPA certification or eligibility to sit for the exam
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and self-starter skills

A background in manufacturers, nonprofits, long-term care, or construction industries is a plus, but not required.
