Job Description

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated HVAC Installation Technician to join our team at Precision Comfort Specialist Inc. This role requires a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence in service delivery.

Key Competencies: The ideal candidate will possess a motivated work ethic, excellent attendance, and a demonstrated mechanical aptitude. A positive attitude, proficiency in using various tools, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are essential. A willingness to learn and grow in the HVAC field is also crucial.

Essential Qualifications: Candidates must hold a valid driver's license with an insurable driving record. A commitment to investing in necessary tools for HVAC service and participating in training seminars and classes is required. The ability to work from a 28' extension ladder and a 12' step ladder is necessary, along with safe operation of power and hand tools. Following written and verbal instructions is a must, as is a dedication to enhancing customer service skills. Enrollment in HVAC technical school and/or in-house training programs is encouraged.

Core Responsibilities: The HVAC Installation Technician will be expected to:

  • Arrive at job sites punctually as scheduled.
  • Relocate between job sites as directed.
  • Operate company vehicles as needed.
  • Adhere to instructions from supervisors and dispatchers, executing tasks in a timely manner.
  • Report any issues with company tools or vehicles promptly.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.

Physical Requirements: This position requires the ability to walk, stoop, balance, talk, hear, squat, climb, reach overhead, and drive a company vehicle. The technician will use their hands to handle tools and equipment. Occasionally, the employee must lift and/or move objects weighing a specified amount. Vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.

Work Environment: The technician will be exposed to various weather conditions while performing their duties. There may be instances requiring work in confined spaces for brief periods.
