Job Summary

Lehigh Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team on a travel assignment. As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing a variety of sonographic procedures to aid in the diagnosis of medical conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality sonographic procedures to aid in the diagnosis of medical conditions
  • Operate and maintain sonographic equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Develop and implement patient care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
  • Current registration with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
  • State licensure as required by the state of practice
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a travel or per diem capacity
  • Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMRs) and other healthcare software
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
