Job Summary:
Cuyahoga Community College is seeking a qualified Part-Time Faculty member to teach in our Motorcycle Program. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing the maintenance activities of the program.
Responsibilities:
- Work under the direction of the Coordinator of the Public Safety Institute, Law Enforcement Advanced Training to plan, coordinate, and direct the maintenance activities of the Motorcycle Program.
- Must be certified by the Motorcycle Ohio Program to conduct the Basic Rider Course.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or general education diploma (GED) is required.
- Five years of relevant work experience in basic motorcycle mechanics/logistics is required.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively to customers and employees of the organization.
- Must be able to exercise good judgment and discretion in the performance of regular work.
Certifications and Licenses:
- A valid Ohio Drivers License with motorcycle endorsement is required and approval from the State of Ohio Motorcycle Program.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree
