Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Motorcycle Instructor to join our team at Tri C Company Inc. as a Part-Time Faculty member. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing the maintenance activities of the Motorcycle Program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work under the direction of the Coordinator of the Public Safety Institute, Law Enforcement Advanced Training to plan, coordinate, and direct the maintenance activities of the Motorcycle Program.
• Develop and implement training programs for motorcycle instructors, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Conduct regular safety inspections of motorcycles and equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with other instructors and staff to develop and implement curriculum for motorcycle training programs.
• Provide exceptional customer service to students, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements:

• A high school diploma or general education diploma (GED) is required.
• Five years of relevant work experience in basic motorcycle mechanics/logistics is required.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively to customers and employees of the organization.
• Must be able to exercise good judgment and discretion in the performance of regular work.

Certifications and Licenses:

• A valid Ohio Drivers License with motorcycle endorsement is required and approval from the State of Ohio Motorcycle Program.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree
