About Us

Karen Clark & Company (KCC) is a leading provider of catastrophe modeling platforms. Our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

We are currently seeking an experienced Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our software development team in our Boston office. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of prior QA experience and a strong understanding of software quality assurance principles.

The successful candidate will be responsible for validating and testing our RiskInsight platform, ensuring its accuracy and reliability. This involves developing automated testing processes, creating test plans, and executing tests to guarantee seamless software usability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute thorough test plans to ensure the accuracy and reliability of software and catastrophe risk models.
  • Collaborate with our client services team to identify and prioritize testing requirements.
  • Design and implement automated testing processes to enhance efficiency and reduce testing time.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of prior QA experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred.
  • Extensive experience in programming languages such as SQL, JavaScript, and C#.
  • Experience with Git and testing tools like Selenium, TeamCity, Pytest, or Playwright.

Salary and Benefits
