Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee workflow processes, including pharmacist verification and medication labeling/packaging
  • Assess medication orders for appropriateness and completeness
  • Adhere to federal and state pharmacy regulations as mandated by relevant authorities
  • Execute all duties with a positive, collaborative, and customer-focused attitude
  • Maintain necessary licenses and certifications in good standing

Qualifications:

Essential Skills and Abilities:

  • At least one year of experience in retail or long-term care pharmacy; three years preferred
  • Possession of a valid New Jersey State Board of Pharmacy Pharmacist License
  • Familiarity with FrameworkLTC and DocuTrack is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Positive demeanor with strong teamwork capabilities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and occasionally high-pressure environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
  • Skilled in problem-solving and conflict resolution within the pharmacy setting

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to endure extended periods of computer use and desk work
  • Capability to stand or remain on feet for the duration of an eight-hour shift
