About the Position

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Energy Advisor to join our team at Venatore LLC. As a Senior Energy Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting the Bureau for Europe and Eurasia (E&E) of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in energy sector reform, with expertise in project development and/or project management for energy and infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for providing high-quality technical advice and assistance to USAID's Ukraine mission (or E&E) to help design, implement, and evaluate bilateral energy programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead substantive research concerning international development projects, programs, and/or activities in the energy and electricity sectors.
  • Develop and manage energy sector projects, programs, and activities in support of USAID/Ukraine (or E&E) and US foreign policy objectives.
  • Analyze and advise on energy policies, regulations, and market trends in Ukraine and Eastern Europe.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of five years of experience in energy sector reform, project development, and/or project management.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel internationally up to 25 percent of the time.
