Job Title: Welder/Fabricator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our team at Synerfac in Erie, PA. As a key member of our fabrication team, you will be responsible for setting up and operating machine tools to fulfill customer requirements, developing and implementing fabrication plans, and performing basic welding and press duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate machine tools in a fabrication shop setting to meet customer requirements
  • Develop and implement fabrication plans, including layout and sequence of operations
  • Fabricate and assemble a variety of metal products
  • Perform basic welding and press duties
  • Use measuring tools, such as micrometers and calipers, on a daily basis
  • Perform basic machine maintenance and adhere to all machine safety requirements
  • Program machining centers and robotic welders


Requirements:

  • Prior metal fabrication and/or welding experience
  • Knowledge of lifting procedures and rigging
  • Knowledge of wire filler materials applications for steel alloys, aluminum, and some exotic materials
  • Basic math skills, including working with decimals, fractions, and percentages
  • Ability to accurately use measuring tools (micrometers, calipers)
