Clinical Supervisor

Winthrop University is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Supervisor to join our Student Advocacy and Trauma Support (SATS) team. As a key member of our counseling services team, you will provide therapy services to students who have experienced sexual assault, domestic violence, stalking, and bias-related crimes.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide counseling services to clients affected by sexual assault, domestic and dating violence, and/or stalking as a priority.
- Provide counseling services to clients affected by crimes or discrimination based on bias related to gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, race, ethnic origin, or religion, as needed.
- Maintain proper documentation of all services provided.
- Manage SATS clinical staff and day-to-day operations, including hiring, training, and supervision of counselors and clinical interns.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to promote community awareness and communicate the availability of services for survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, stalking, and bias crimes or discrimination through educational programming.
- Coordinate consultation and peer support within the Center for Student Wellness and participate in weekly peer supervision meetings.
- Maintain effective professional relationships with key Winthrop and Rock Hill community members.
- Respond to campus and community inquiries for consultation.
- Master's degree and appropriate licensure in counseling, counseling psychology, social work, or a closely related field.
- Currently licensed in South Carolina as a Licensed Psychologist, LPC, LMFT, or LISW-CP.
- Trauma-focused clinical training.
- Experience working with survivors of sexual assault, domestic and dating violence, and stalking.
- Experience managing and supervising clinical staff and/or clinical interns.
- Experience working with college-aged clients.
- Trauma or trauma-related certification.
- Experience with social media management and digital content creation.
- Multicultural competence and ability to build meaningful rapport with people regardless of gender, age, race, culture, sexual preference, or gender identity.
- Ability to provide culturally sensitive individual, couples, and group behavioral health services to students who are victims of crimes, including sexual assault, domestic and dating violence, stalking, or crimes or discrimination based on bias against gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, race, ethnic origin, or religion.
- Ability to provide emergency coverage and crisis intervention.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to supervise and manage clinical staff.
This is a full-time, exempt position with a 30-hour workweek. The successful candidate will be required to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
