Job Responsibilities
As a Practical Nursing Specialist, your duties will include:

  • Delivering compassionate nursing care in post-acute facilities
  • Monitoring residents' physical and mental health, including vital signs
  • Conducting resident intakes and documenting medical histories
  • Assisting with medication administration and verification
  • Creating a comfortable and safe environment for residents
  • Maintaining accurate medical records and charts
  • Assisting with IV setups, immunizations, and phlebotomy
  • Managing medical supplies and inventory
  • Adhering to resident care plans
  • Supporting the orientation and training of new staff members

Qualifications and Skills
To qualify for this role, you should possess:

  • A current state license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
  • Completion of an accredited LPN educational program
  • A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • A minimum of 6 months of experience in a similar role
  • The ability to lift at least 50 lbs
