Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Server to join our team at Firebirds Wood Fired Grill. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional dining experiences to our guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities

  • Run food to tables in a team effort to ensure timely delivery of orders
  • Clear and reset dining tables in a timely manner to maintain a clean and organized dining area
  • Enter all food and beverage orders into the Micros POS system accurately and efficiently
  • Deliver checks and process payments promptly, ensuring a seamless payment experience for guests
  • Assist guests in making menu and beverage selections, providing recommendations and answering questions
  • Be knowledgeable of non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages, making recommendations to guests as needed
  • Complete side work duties throughout the shift to maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Work effectively as a team member in a fast-paced environment, communicating clearly and respectfully with colleagues

Requirements

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with guests and colleagues
  • Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations, with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work on your feet for 8 hours or more per day, with the ability to bend, kneel, and lift items frequently weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to be patient and have a guest-oriented mindset, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service
  • Ability to maintain positive working relationships with all team members, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration
  • Attention to cleanliness and safety procedures, with a focus on maintaining a clean and organized workspace
  • Must have reliable transportation, with a valid driver's license
  • 18+ age requirement for serving
