Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Freight Delivery Expert to join our team at United Refrigeration, Inc. This is a full-time opportunity that requires a valid CDL license and excellent communication skills.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000, depending on experience.

About the Role

This role involves making deliveries to customers (80%) and warehouse duties (20%). As a Freight Delivery Expert, you will be responsible for:

  • Loading and unloading trucks
  • Managing and handling shipping, loading, and unloading of products
  • Operating forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Handling and operating necessary tools and accessories in maintaining and managing a warehouse

You will also be expected to keep the warehouse premises neat and clean, organize and maintain records of inventories, and monitor and manage inventory control.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A valid CDL License with a clean driving record
  • A Medical Card
  • Hazmat Endorsement – obtainable within 90 days of being hired
  • The physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds or more
  • The physical ability to stand, sit, move, squat, walk, and climb during the course of the shift

  • Pays attention to detail and monitors quality of inventory
  • Highly organized and able to store items efficiently
