We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sanitation Worker to join our team at US Foods. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our warehouse facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep and clean the entire warehouse to maintain the required level of cleanliness, including emptying trash bins and cleaning the trash area daily.
- Product Handling: Pull pallets and clean/scrub product bays on a rotating basis, and clean up any spills or breakages to inventoried product.
- Maintenance and Repair: Perform light maintenance duties as assigned, including replacement of light bulbs, collecting recyclable materials, and checking freezer and cooler for leaks or ice buildup.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare various reports and forms to document cleaning schedules, spillages, product damage, and other relevant information.
- Education: High school education or equivalent preferred.
- Experience: Previous custodial and/or sanitation experience preferred.
- Skills: Ability to read and communicate in the English language, and to operate equipment such as scrubbers, pallet jacks, and high lifts.
