The Logistics Coordinator at Empower Pharmacy is essential in guaranteeing that our patients receive their medications with precision and punctuality.

In this fast-paced position, you will be responsible for preparing orders for dispatch, ensuring that each package is accurately labeled and securely packaged for delivery.

Your proficiency in shipping software such as FedEx Ship Manager, UPS WorldShip, and USPS Endicia will be critical for confirming addresses and resolving issues related to misdelivered or lost shipments.

Conducting quality assurance checks on outgoing shipments to ensure adherence to regulatory standards will be a fundamental aspect of your role, alongside selecting appropriate packaging methods tailored to the specific requirements of each product, including refrigeration needs.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Process and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in line with established protocols.

2. Generate shipping labels and packaging to guarantee correct delivery to patients.

3. Investigate misdelivered and lost shipments.

4. Confirm addresses using FedEx Ship Manager, UPS WorldShip, or USPS Endicia software.

5. Perform quality assurance checks on outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.


6. Utilize optimal methods for product packing and shipping based on standard procedures, including packaging type and unique conditions (e.g., refrigeration) to ensure safe delivery.


7. Maintain a clean and organized shipping area.

8. Monitor inventory levels of shipping supplies and report any shortages or discrepancies to management.

9. Complete special projects as assigned by the supervisor.

10. Perform additional duties as required.

While fulfilling the responsibilities of this position, the employee is required to frequently and repeatedly work up to 8 to 10 hours per day, analyze and interpret data; access, input, and retrieve information from computers and other productivity devices; communicate verbally; stand; walk; stoop; kneel/squat; use hands and fingers to handle, grip/squeeze, and/or feel; push/pull and reach with hands and arms; position themselves to retrieve items from various shelf heights; balance; crouch, or crawl.

The associate must frequently lift up to 50 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required for this role include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Experience and Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.

2. Previous experience in shipping and/or logistics.
