Job Summary

Engineered Materials Solutions is seeking a skilled Etch Metal Prep Operator to join our team in Colorado Springs. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for preparing and processing chemical etch equipment to produce high-quality parts for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain chemical etch equipment to ensure optimal performance and product quality.
  • Conduct in-process measurements of parts using precision instruments, such as micrometers or drop gauges.
  • Strip resist from parts and transfer chemicals to and from the etch area.
  • Perform routine maintenance and housekeeping tasks to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Assist in other departments as needed to support the production process.
  • Prepare metal surfaces for etching and other processing operations.
  • Perform etchant change-outs and troubleshoot equipment issues.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to read blueprints and drawings.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and strong problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with chemical etching processes and equipment.
  • Knowledge of precision measuring instruments and techniques.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
