Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join our team at Aerotek. As a Manual Machinist, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and shop sketches to cut, machine, and shape raw materials in accordance with specified drawings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and shop sketches to determine machining requirements.
  • Operate conventional machine shop equipment and machinery, including lathes and bridgeport equipment.
  • Perform various machining processes, including turning, milling, grinding, and drilling.
  • Work on different projects weekly or daily, handling both small and large parts.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in manual machining processes and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy.
  • Experience with lathe and bridgeport equipment, with a strong understanding of machining principles.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a job shop environment, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
