Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist with the ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and shop sketches. The ideal candidate will use conventional machine shop equipment and machinery to cut, machine, and shape raw materials in accordance with specified drawings.

Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and shop sketches.
  • Operate all conventional machine shop equipment and machinery.
  • Perform various machining processes including turning, milling, grinding, and drilling.
  • Work on different projects weekly or daily, handling both small and large parts.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in manual machining processes.
  • Experience with lathe and bridge port equipment.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a job shop environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Ability to maintain excellent attendance.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Work Environment

Work in a clean shop environment located in Hampton. The schedule includes two 15-minute paid breaks and one 30-minute unpaid lunch.
