Job Description:

Epic Travel Staffing Allied is seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team for a 13-week travel assignment. As a travel RRT, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide respiratory care to patients with a variety of conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pneumonia, and asthma
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests, including spirometry and arterial blood gas analysis
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Current Illinois license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
  • At least one year of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
  • BLS certification
  • NRP certification
  • ACLS certification
  • PALS certification
