Position Overview:
As an HVAC Systems Control Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and efficient operation of HVAC systems within our projects. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in HVAC controls, electrical wiring, and system commissioning. Key Responsibilities:
1. Install, maintain, and troubleshoot HVAC systems and controls to ensure peak performance.
2. Interpret and execute design specifications for HVAC controls and systems.
3. Conduct control commissioning tasks, including setup and adjustment of HVAC/DDC programming to align with specific building needs.
4. Perform comprehensive testing of electrical circuits and control codes using specialized equipment.
5. Diagnose and repair issues related to HVAC systems, controls, and wiring.
6. Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure timely and budget-conscious project completion.
7. Stay informed about the latest HVAC technologies and industry best practices.
8. Follow safety protocols and regulations consistently.
9. Mentor junior technicians, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
10. Utilize Alerton Building Controls for effective monitoring and management of HVAC systems.

Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience as an HVAC Systems Control Specialist or in a related role within the construction industry.
2. Proficient in HVAC controls, control commissioning, and electrical wiring.
3. Strong understanding of control circuits and the ability to test electrical circuits.
4. Experience with HVAC/DDC programming and Direct Digital Controls (DDC).
5. Skilled in using testing equipment and troubleshooting HVAC systems and controls.
6. Familiarity with Alerton Building Controls is a plus.
7. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
8. Capable of reading and interpreting design specifications for HVAC installations.
9. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
10. Commitment to safety and quality standards.
11. A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various project sites.
12. HVAC certification or equivalent is preferred.
