Surgical Unit Registered Nurse Opportunity

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Unit team at Community Medical Center.

About the Role

This is a full-time night shift position, requiring 36 hours of work per week. As a Registered Nurse in our Surgical Unit, you will provide high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, assessing and addressing the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of our patients.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, working closely with our patients and their families to ensure their needs are met.
  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to coordinate care, communicate effectively, and ensure seamless transitions.
  • Supervise and direct the delegation of tasks to appropriate team members, promoting a culture of teamwork and accountability.
  • Consistently set and evaluate priorities, utilizing the nursing process to integrate all aspects of patient care and individualize plans to address specific patient needs.
Qualifications
  • Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License
  • BLS certification
  • ASN or Nursing Diploma
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Proficient computer skills
