About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Omnicare, a CVS Health Company. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our medication dispensing process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform order entry tasks and collaborate with pharmacists to ensure accurate medication dispensing
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
  • Triage customer service requests and respond in a timely manner
  • Calculate and verify correct dosages based on prescriptions
  • Assist in reviewing narcotic prescriptions and ensuring timely processing
  • Provide dispensing pharmacists with information on allergies, drug interactions, and other critical information
  • Maintain accurate customer records

Requirements
  • Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician in the state of Georgia
  • PTCB National Certification
  • One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician
