The Vehicle Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for assessing vehicles received from transporters for any damages, completing necessary documentation, checking in vehicles, organizing the lot, and performing light maintenance tasks. This role also includes various other responsibilities as assigned by management, all of which must be executed safely and efficiently. The position requires outdoor work, and candidates should be prepared to work in varying weather conditions.

This position is located at our Davenport facility.

Key Responsibilities

The Vehicle Maintenance Specialist plays a crucial role in maintaining the quality and organization of our vehicle fleet.

  • Conduct thorough inspections and document the condition of incoming vehicles.
  • Perform basic maintenance checks, including inspecting the antenna, under the hood, and the interior and exterior of the vehicle.
  • Collaborate with vendors as necessary.
  • Utilize the de-fueling station to remove fuel from vehicles.
  • Ensure the cleanliness of vehicle exteriors through hand washing or using washing equipment.
  • Work independently or as part of a team.
  • Occasionally drive and deliver vehicles locally or to other areas, adhering to all traffic regulations.
  • Carry out miscellaneous job-related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Minimum of 6 months of relevant work experience required.

  • No drug or alcohol-related convictions on driving record within the last five years.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship.
  • Willingness to accept a starting wage of $14.00 per hour.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Availability to work 40 hours per week during the specified business hours.
