Job Summary:

Troy Center is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at our Skilled Nursing Facility in Troy, NY. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advice and support to residents and their families, promoting a positive and respectful environment.
  • Monitor residents' health and administer medication and treatments as needed.
  • Document resident care services by charting in resident and department records, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Protect residents and staff by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols, maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
  • Resolve resident problems and needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies, promoting a collaborative approach to care.
  • Assure quality of care by adhering to facility philosophies and standards of care, upholding the highest standards of excellence.
  • Maintain resident confidence by keeping information confidential, respecting residents' trust and dignity.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work well in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals.
  • Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License, ensuring compliance with state regulations.
  • Long-term care experience preferred, but not required, as we provide comprehensive training and support.
  • Solid computer skills, with working knowledge of MS Office, facilitating efficient documentation and communication.
  • Excellent communication skills, enabling effective interaction with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease.
