Job Overview:
We are in search of a skilled Echo Technician to conduct cardiac ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to M-Mode, two-dimensional imaging, Doppler, and Color Doppler studies, as well as stress echocardiograms.
The ideal candidate will possess technical expertise in performing these studies, along with proficiency in equipment maintenance and adherence to safety protocols.
Deliver exceptional patient care to all individuals within the medical imaging department, ensuring high-quality imaging and examinations while being sensitive to patient needs.
Exhibit leadership qualities and serve as a role model for fellow technologists.
Requirements:
• Current registration in Pediatric Echo within the state of practice.
• Preferred completion of a college or technical training program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is mandatory.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in Acute Care Hospital settings focusing on Pediatric Echocardiography.
• Comprehensive understanding of cardiac and thoracic anatomy, physiology, and hemodynamics.
Compensation:
• $40.00 per hour
