Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Omnicare, a CVS Health Company. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accurate and timely dispensing of medications to our patients in skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and chronic care settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure all medication needs and regulatory standards are met for our patients
  • Work in various workstations to grow your skillsets further
  • Rotate and work in assigned pharmacy workstations, including packaging, staging, returns, receiving, narcotics, IV, Ekit, compounding, and Omnicell Cycle Fill
  • Perform physical inventories of medication
  • Receive product deliveries, pull and stage product for distribution, rotate stock, and coordinate activities with drivers to ensure shipments are accurate and deliveries are timely
Requirements
  • Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law
  • One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in the long-term care industry
  • Prior experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
  • PTCB National Certification
  • Five (5) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or equivalent experience
