Position Overview
The Property Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and appeal of our properties. This position involves addressing maintenance requests from residents and preparing units for new occupants. A commitment to professionalism and outstanding customer service is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Resident Engagement:
- Timely response to maintenance requests to ensure resident satisfaction.
- Uphold cleanliness and order within the community.
- Prepare vacant units for incoming residents.
- Technical Skills:
- Perform a variety of maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical repairs, carpentry, painting, and appliance servicing.
- Proactively identify and resolve potential maintenance issues.
- Professional Conduct:
- Represent ARI Apartment Management positively at all times.
- Communicate effectively with residents, team members, and service providers.
- Participate in on-call rotations for after-hours emergencies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or military experience is advantageous.
- A minimum of 3 years of general maintenance experience is required.
- CPO certification is preferred or a willingness to obtain it within 60 days of hire.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record and auto insurance is necessary.
- Availability to participate in on-call emergency rotations.
