Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cath Lab team at SSM Health. As a Cath Lab RN, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our cardiac catheterization lab.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the catheterization team to plan and implement care for adult patients undergoing cardiac procedures.
  • Ensure that quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner, consistent with our unit's standards of care.
  • Perform circulator, scrub, or monitor duties as part of the catheterization team.
  • Administer medications to patients, including those who are critically ill, and report any abnormal information to the physician in a timely manner.
  • Provide education to patients and families based on assessed needs, document education provided, and keep them informed of tests and treatments.
  • Assist families to the cardiology area or Cath lab area by escorting when necessary.
  • Perform point of care testing according to policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing.
  • No experience required.
Work Environment

This is a day shift position in our Cath Lab department. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent patient care.
