Job Summary

Ellis Medicine is seeking a skilled Cardiac Monitoring Specialist to join our team. As a Cardiac Monitoring Specialist, you will be responsible for the direct continuous visualization of the rhythm surveillance monitoring system for patients with a compromised cardiac condition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct, continuous visualization of rhythm surveillance system
  • Identify and communicate rhythms, including normal sinus rhythm, sinus bradycardia, and atrial fibrillation
  • Interface with monitoring system, including locating needed information, using controls, and managing alarms
  • Communicate all rate and rhythms to the RN accurately and timely
  • Maintain documentation reflecting the rhythm history of each patient
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience with nursing unit operations and medical terminology preferred
  • Ability to articulate and comprehend the spoken English language
  • Ability to read the English language
Working Conditions

The position is located indoors under normal working conditions. The candidate will be required to push/pull 25 lb., lift/move 15 lb. from floor to table, and perform moderately difficult manual manipulations such as using a keyboard, writing, and filing for extended periods of time.

Salary Range

$15.61-$20.46/hour. Pay is based on experience, skills, and education.
