About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team at CenterWell Senior Primary Care. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to healthcare professionals, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling phone calls.
  • Assist with clinical duties, such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and performing basic laboratory tests.
  • Collaborate with physicians and nurses to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories, test results, and treatment plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • 3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a healthcare setting.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Less than 2 years of leadership experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in electronic medical records systems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish.
  • Hands-on professional phlebotomy experience.
  • Experience with electronic medical records and HEDIS.
