About the Role

CoolSys is seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service to our customers, ensuring their equipment is running efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and overhaul equipment, including compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and electrical and mechanical control devices
  • Provide general repair work on refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance activities, diagnosing equipment malfunctions and operating deficiencies
  • Test malfunctioning systems and components using electrical and/or mechanical skills
  • Maintain accurate records of work history
  • Process job tickets and work orders in a timely manner
  • Support departmental activities, including picking up, delivering, and installing cases
  • Perform minor construction and remodeling projects, including startups of new installations
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience with commercial HVAC and refrigeration installation
  • Ability to work on equipment and troubleshoot, test, and balance systems
  • Valid driver's license and active EPA certification
  • Excellent customer relations and interpersonal skills
  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., safely climb and balance on a ladder, and work in elevated/high locations
