Overview

KJ's Market is a family-owned grocery store based in the Carolinas since 1922. We're not like other grocery stores – We Create Smiles. Our bakery team is looking for a skilled Cake Decorator to join our team and help us create unforgettable treats for our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service and greet all guests with a smile.
  • Prepare and decorate cakes, pastries, and other baked goods for sale.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the cooler, freezer, and sales area.
  • Communicate effectively with management and colleagues to ensure seamless operations.
  • Rotate products, including icings, and maintain proper inventory levels.
  • Use cake production sheets and follow recipes to achieve budgeted sales and profits.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, including Front Porch duties and product receiving.
Qualifications
  • Friendly and outgoing personality.
  • Ability to work well with others and lift 25 lbs. consistently.
  • Effective communication, guest service, and selling skills.
  • Ability to read, understand information, and direction.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
