Key Responsibilities:
- Lead internal engineering teams.
- Create project plans, track schedules, document agreements and meeting notes, monitor action items, and ensure issues are resolved effectively.
- Oversee and manage software releases and engineering change requests.
- Handle multiple concurrent projects and develop contingency plans when obstacles arise.
- Quickly understand business needs and issues, and confidently present reports and status updates to diverse teams.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 8-10 years of experience in project management, particularly with complex software releases.
- Strong comprehension of software development methodologies.
- Self-driven, organized, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience managing projects from inception to completion, providing regular updates to cross-functional teams.
- Utilize a technical background and engineering principles to prioritize and address complex challenges.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with strong presentation abilities.
- Ability to collaborate across large, intricate programs with a high degree of ambiguity and strategically guide projects to success.
- Familiarity with Agile Project Management methodologies.
- Adaptable to rapid changes and comfortable navigating uncertain situations.
- Prior experience in areas such as Embedded Software, Cloud Networking, TCP/IP products, or the Automotive sector.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Technical expertise in Networking, Automotive Infrastructure, Electrical, or Mechanical fields.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, Excel, or similar software.
- Ability to think creatively to develop innovative solutions for complex problems.
- Establish processes to simplify complexities and employ inventive methods to overcome both technical and organizational challenges.
- Foster meaningful collaboration across teams and geographical boundaries.
- Experience with automotive design review and audit processes, such as ISO 26262, Automotive SPICE, or ASIL standards is advantageous.
