Position Overview:

This per diem role provides the opportunity for adaptable scheduling with varying hours to suit your availability.

Role Responsibilities:

  • The Unit CNA/Unit Secretary will operate under the guidance of the Director of Oncology and Infusion Therapy or the Oncology/IVT Nursing Staff.
  • Key responsibilities include working collaboratively with medical professionals, nursing personnel, administrative staff, and support services, as well as aiding in direct patient care related to IV therapy and Oncology.
  • Additional duties encompass performing clerical, receptionist, and computer-related tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Education: A High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Successful completion of an accredited C.N.A. Program and certification by the State of Maine is mandatory.
  • Experience: Prior experience in a clinical environment is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and proficient typing skills are beneficial.
  • Essential skills include strong organizational abilities, effective listening, reading comprehension, and writing proficiency.
