Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Maine Health. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to provide patient-centered care in a variety of settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in providing age-specific patient care in accordance with unit-based protocols.
  • Perform delegated tasks related to ADLs and the promotion of outcome-based patient care.
  • Work effectively with multiple and diverse patient populations.
  • Demonstrate competency with multiple computer applications.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Graduate of an accredited CNA program.
  • BLS certification within three months of hire.
  • One year of internal CNA experience preferred, with a minimum 6 months in an acute care setting required.
  • Ability to float and work within a variety of hospital inpatient settings and the emergency department.
  • In good standing on the Maine State CNA Registry.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a clinical setting.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
