Customer Service Job Description

The University of Florida seeks a detail-oriented individual to support our patient access center at UF Health. This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Handle patient inquiries and concerns via phone, ensuring timely resolution and follow-up.
  2. Process patient registration and verify insurance information.
  3. Collaborate with internal teams to arrange for special services, such as interpreter assistance or wheelchair requests.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in healthcare.

Salary Range: $42,000 - $52,000 per year (dependent on qualifications).
