Job Description

At insightsoftware, we are seeking a highly skilled Program Manager, Business Systems to join our team. As a key member of our Business Systems Team, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects associated with common goals within our organization.

The ideal candidate will have experience in software implementations and project management activities, including scheduling, team management, budgeting, vendor management, status reporting, and project coordination.

  • Project Management: Simultaneously manage multiple projects with activities, deliverables, and interdependencies involving internal and external teams.
  • Project Tracking: Track project deliverables and schedules, with a strong focus on progress measurement, analysis, and reporting.
  • Project Planning: Plan and coordinate small to mid-sized projects through normal project phases such as discovery, design, development, deployment, and operations.
  • Vendor Management: Manage vendor communication and follow up on vendor tasks to ensure effective project delivery.
  • Project Scheduling: Maintain project schedules, as applicable, to deliver projects on time.
  • Risk Management: Capture and escalate risk that surfaces on a project to help mitigate or avoid project disruptions.
  • Status Reporting: Provide status reports, as appropriate to the size of engagement, to the Sr. Director of Business Systems or to a Steering Committee.

We are looking for a self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, decision-making, research, analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills. The ideal candidate will have a clear understanding and working knowledge of software implementations and be able to work independently with minimal direction.

Qualifications

  • Project Management Experience: 3+ years project management experience with demonstrated results.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Skills: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
