Job Overview:
The Facilities Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in supporting the functionality, upkeep, and repair of various equipment as designated.

This position also involves engaging in the preventative maintenance program, addressing guest inquiries, and managing additional work orders as required.

It is essential to execute tasks safely and efficiently while performing various trade jobs such as carpentry, painting, plumbing, and more.

May involve operating a shuttle van when necessary (specific to the property).

Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment.

Replace light bulbs; conduct preventative maintenance for guest accommodations, including vinyl repairs, touch-up painting, minor furniture fixes, tub caulking, tile repairs, and more.

Carry out preventative maintenance for ice machines, refrigerators, kitchen appliances, laundry machines, HVAC systems, guest rooms, meeting spaces, swimming pools, and hot tubs.

Perform plumbing repairs, laundry machine maintenance, and preventative upkeep on all exhaust fans and supply systems; monitor energy efficiency; repair vacuum cleaners and other small equipment as requested.

Promptly respond to any alarms to identify the exact location and cause, assess emergency status, and report findings to the Front Desk.

Complete other tasks or assignments as directed by the supervisor or manager.

Qualifications:
Experience in a hospitality environment or a related field.
A High School diploma or equivalent is required.
Licensed in a relevant trade (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.).
Must possess a valid driver's license for the applicable state (specific to the property).
Must maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Driving Record (specific to the property).
Preferably possess basic knowledge and experience in carpentry, plumbing, mechanical repairs, painting, and HVAC systems.
Ability to demonstrate precision and attention to detail; monitors personal work to ensure quality and applies feedback for performance improvement.
Ability to show adaptability in response to changes and embrace new methods and procedures.
Knowledge of safety protocols and federal and state OSHA regulations.
