As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for evaluating dental health programs and services, providing dental care, and supervising dental services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide routine drilling, filling, and extraction of teeth in accordance with established standards of practice.
  • Complete initial dental screenings on all new commitments within the required timeframe.
  • Evaluate inmates/patients needing specialized dental care and make recommendations for treatment.
  • Treat inmates/patients with dental conditions affecting their nutritional status.
  • Document all services rendered in the inmate/patient dental health record.
  • Instruct inmates/patients in dental hygiene techniques.
  • Provide in-service training for healthcare staff on dental care and hygiene.
  • Complete dental exams on inmates/patients at regular intervals.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Dentistry.
  • Licensed to practice Dentistry in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
  • Maintain current DEA license.
  • Maintain active BLS (CPR) certification.
  • Maintain current Driver's License.
