Responsibilities:
  1. Installation of safety lines and posts
  2. Erecting steel columns, beams, girders, trusses, and joists
  3. Installation of stairs, landings, rails, and guardrails, including welding of all rails and rail returns
  4. Ability to read and interpret shop drawings (blueprints) is preferred
  5. Cutting, positioning, and bolting steel bars for concrete reinforcement
Experience:
  • Welding experience (ornamental, steel detailing, and erection)
  • Preferred experience in heavy equipment operation
  • General construction experience is preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of field experience in installing structural and ornamental steel
  • OSHA certification, rigger, and fire watch experience
Compensation: $25 - $40 per hour based on experience.
