Aveanna Healthcare is a leading provider of home health services to medically fragile children and adults. We are seeking a skilled Home Health Nurse to join our team in Portsmouth, Virginia.

Job Overview

We offer competitive salaries and benefits, including weekly and/or daily pay, overtime opportunities, and paid Time Off. Our nurses work closely with patients and their families to provide compassionate care and support.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care for pediatric patients with high acuity needs.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and coordinate care with the patient's healthcare team.
  • Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies as ordered by the physician.
  • Document all care provided in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Provide education and training to family members on patient care and management.
Requirements
  • Active RN/LPN/LVN license in the state of Virginia.
  • CPR certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
  • TB skin test (current within last 12 months).
  • Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required.
  • Reliable transportation.
